RAMAKRISHNAN M PROFILE

A post graduate in Social Work with specialization in HR from PSGCAS Coimbatore and a Law degree from Trichy Law College, 54 year old Ram has about 32 years of experience in HR and IR. He has been in several leadership positions since 2006.

Starting his career in a public sector undertaking he switched over to private organizations primarily manufacturing and then process industries followed by FMCG retail and finance sectors as well. His experience in organizations include SETC, ReCp, Pricol, Visteon, WS Industries, Hatsun, Belstar and Chemplast Sanmar. Over the years he expanded his areas of experience in Assessment & Development Centers, Training Strategies and HR diagnostics on an assignment basis in organizations like Parry Sugars, Coromandel Fertilizers, Allsec Technologies, Hindustan Motors, etc.

In most of his engagements, he was involved in managing complex system-wide changes, performance improvement processes, litigation and union settlements on productivity and building and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives down the levels.

He also played an important role in CSR activity for Pricol and as a Project Coordinator for a Corporate NGO named “Siruthuli” in Coimbatore during 2003 to 2006 for water management and eco protection. He is a certified Trainer through M/s Gemba Management Consulting and certified Assessor through M/s Thomas Profiling. He continues to promote learning & development for school and college students. A Life Member and National Council Member of Indian Society for Training and Development. He held the position of Chairman for it’s Chennai Chapter during 2017-18.

He runs a public charitable trust with holistic wellness as focus and other objectives including training semi-urban and rural mass on drought irrigation, organic farming, agro based economy and eco protection.

He serves Saga Consulting as a Principal consultant involving in HR projects, Assessment / Development centers and in various learning and development modules.
