VANISREE G PROFILE

Vanisree G is a HR Professional with around 20 years of experience across industries. She has completed her Master’s in Business Administration from The BSMED, Coimbatore. She carries an undergraduate degree in Agriculture from the Tamilnadu Agricultural University.

She has played a pivotal role in some of the key strategic activities including Organization restructuring, HR restructuring (region based model to a centralized shared services model with Centres of Excellence and HR Business Partners), Change Management, OD interventions, designing of HR Policies, IT enabled HR systems including SAP (PM &OM), Payroll and time management module on Oracle, PMS based on Balanced score card, Enterprise Portal, Employee Self Service portals including HR workflows, CRM etc .

She has been responsible for end to end HR Operations in the capacity of the Head, Human Resources. She had been instrumental in integrating psychometric assessments into the recruitment and talent development processes, being certified on Thomas Assessments and trained on other Psychometric tests and Assessment Centres. She has spearheaded campus hiring from India’s leading B Schools, Universities and other Institutions, Surveys and Job fairs, Employee Referral programs, Head hunting for leadership roles etc.

She has designed, developed and implemented Performance Management Systems for multiple organizations including KRAs and KPIs, periodic appraisals, feedback system, career progression, promotions, job rotations, transfers, stretch assignments, PiPs, succession planning, high potential identification, IDPs etc . She has also designed and implemented Performance linked incentive system, rewards and recognition system across the organization.

She has trained more than 2000 employees on various behavioural training programs (20+) with target audience ranging from leadership team, senior managers, line managers and executives across multiple functions, sales team, workmen, front office executives in addition to holistic induction modules for new hires. Participants include employees of MTNL, overseas participants sponsored through TCIL, NTPC and several other state owned, private organizations and educational institutions.

She has played a pivotal role in successfully obtaining the some of the stringent certifications in the Diamond Industry by creating automated control and monitoring systems in organization with an employee base of 4000+ spread across multiple locations. She has held the principal responsibility for POSH in various organizations. Under her leadership the organization implemented Centralized salary processing and statutory compliances of all plants that later set the base for creating a HR Shared services department globally.

Vanisree’s contributions to the manufacturing industries that she was associated in Coimbatore and Mumbai include industrial relations, compensation benchmarking, wage and bonus negotiations with trade unions, rob rotations, relocations, transfers etc. Employee engagement surveys, focus on employee welfare measures including health and wellbeing, worklife and family, employee helpdesk etc. She is a certified Psychological Counsellor from ‘Heart to Heart Counselling Centre’ in Mumbai and also Transactional Analysis ‘TA 101’ and had strengthened the employee welfare function and employee relations through an integrated Proactive Counselling Program.

Was also responsible for CSR initiatives of the group. Formulated the CSR policy, created and implemented several CSR programs to support rural education. Introduced ‘a special training program for Government school children as part of the CSR activity and reached to around 3500 children since 2010.

She is a Certified Internal Quality Auditor for an ISO 9001 -2000 Certified Institution, Certified HR Business Partner, Certified in Balanced Score Card and has attended several national HR workshops and Summits including the Chief Learning Officers Summit in Mumbai.

Vanisree has worked with Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd.,MTNL. During her five year stint with MTNL, she specialized in Training and Development and played a key role in building the Department for Management Development Programs at the Centre for Excellence in Telecom Technology and Management (CETTM) at Mumbai.

She has also had a short stint with a Management Advisory Services firm and had worked for textile and agro based industries.

She has led the HR function of South India Manufacturing Units at Dimexon Diamonds Ltd for 6+ years and then elevated to the role of HR Key Account Manager responsible for HR Operations for the group globally as part of Dimexon Integrated Business Services Ltd.

Her latest fulltime HR responsibility was with ABT Foods, part of the Sakthi Group as Head, Human Resources in the Dairy/ FMCG industry.
